World Burns

“Be my light through the dark, I don't mind waiting up for your love.”

Those were the lyrics to the song playing as we drove the hours home from this shoot. I had my laptop out to work on schoolwork, but at the moment, I was mesmerized by the world that whizzed past me through the window. The sun was done setting and it was a beautiful blue hour with a tinge of pink and orange that had broken through the rain to kiss the clouds and the trees silhouetted against the sky. Arthur had put his hand out the window and was letting the wind move it like a dolphin leaping across the ocean. And in that simple moment, I felt alive.
